A Woman’s Exchange (AWE) of Baldwin County, LLC, is a networking group.
The Mission Statement of AWE: To support female professionals to lean in and positively impact their businesses, their families and their communities through networking receptions.
The Who: Female business owners and those who impact their business organization’s growth. Each member will represent a separate and distinct business, and any new members who may present a conflict with an existing member must have permission from said member to join.
The What: Meetings in an informal reception style to discuss topics of the day, including but not limited to business concerns, personal growth, and community issues.
The When: Lunch meetings on the first and third Thursday of each month.
The Where: Sweetwater Cafe, 6525 Battles Road, Fairhope, AL 36532.
The How: AWE is a membership-driven group. Meetings on a repetitive, receptive basis will assist members in getting to know each other in an organic and holistic way facilitated by acceptance, support, mentorship and curiosity. Members should introduce themselves at the beginning of each meeting with a 20-30 second elevator speech. Each member should be prepared to present a 10-15 minute presentation on a rotating basis. Outside speakers should be marquis guests on a quarterly basis. Lunch is included, as well as the occasional outside social event.
The How Much: Membership dues will be quarterly, paid in advance of the calendar quarter, at $160 per calendar quarter.
