On January 23, 2025, Fairhope, Alabama resident and author Alan Haft will be speaking at a local screening of the 2021 film, The Survivor. Not only will he be giving remarks, but Mr. Haft will be honoring the legacy of his father, Harry Haft, the main character of the film, portrayed by actor Ben Foster.
Caution: The trailer video below may be emotionally triggering for some audiences. For others, it might be inspiring. Regardless of your faith or affiliation, the film presents a unique perspective on the power of love, and if the cinematography doesn’t impress you, check your pulse and at least you might recognize Danny DeVito.
