Rufus McBlack EP Release Show at Johnny Mac’s on June 8, 2024 in Partnership with Dr. Music Records
Dr. Music Records has partnered with Johnny Mac’s, previously known as Fairhope Hemp, to bring you a special EP release show by the band Rufus McBlack on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
According to the Rufus McBlack band website, “Rufus McBlack hails from the Gulf Coast of Alabama. Their unique sound blends elements of heavy psych, experimental rock, garage, core, and doom chill.”
Wade Wellborn, owner of Dr. Music Records, says “This is their second show at the Fairhope venue, their October show was an amazing evening of dynamic music.” Wellborn adds that he feels “Super excited to be a part of Johnny Mac’s music venue; “this is an opportunity to bring edgy and challenging music to downtown Fairhope.”
Entertainment by No Complications will open the show; entry is $10 and the doors will open at 7 with music to start at 8.
The venue is located at 505 Fairhope Ave in downtown Fairhope between the library and post office.
